The backfill quality of a pipeline has an important influence on operation. When loose is used, the may be damaged after short term In this study, numerical simulation analysis buried pipes was carried out under three conditions: around pipe, dense backfill, and controlled low strength materials (CLSM) backfill. effects narrow trench backfilling using CLSM force deformation pipelines were studied. results showed that used for pipe backfilling, pressure top side significantly reduced. surface 200 kPa, radial displacement at only 0.6 mm. Compared with reduced by 82.9%, which greatly pipe. good way to protect pipeline. uniformly applied circumferential strain Pipelines flexible mechanical properties it expected engineering practice.
